Wednesday Tea for Thee and Me...

Whist reading the tenth Wednesday Tea for Thee and Me post on the lovely SilkenPurse blog I realised that it fitted in well with - a. my love of afternoon tea... and - b. with a gorgeous Christmas present that my daughter and I were given by my lovely son and his girlfriend!!!!

My daughter and I received a fabulous gift certificate for Afternoon Tea at the Dorchester Hotel in London's Park Lane!!!

We were very excited, and are really looking forward to going - although I need to wait a little longer untill I can attempt the journey to London!!!

I am a big, big fan of Afternoon Tea - it's so elegant and refined, but best of all so traditionally English!!!

I have also sampled Afternoon Tea at The Ritz Hotel in London, The Wolseley in Piccadilly London and Down Hall in Hertfordshire.

In every case the tea has been wonderful, all slightly different, but a truly marvellous experience just the same!!!

It is one of my favourite things to do!!!

Kindest wishes and love

I love your post.
I believe in angels too ( read your profile ).
I adore tea....my afternoon delight for sure.
I wake up to hot coffee, then switch to tea the rest of the day :)
By evening, I then have herbal tea so I don't stay up all night :)

Hello, I just stumbled upon your lovely blog this afternoon. I love afternoon tea, too, and try to do it at home every weekend, and in my two favourite places, Chatsworth and Thoresby Hall as often as possible. I love the CK stuff, and I am inspired by your crochet. I have recently started cross stitch and really enjoy it, but think crochet may be the next thing on my list.
Best wishes.

Good Morning Angel Sweetie...
Afternoon Tea at the Dorchester Hotel in London's Park Lane, oh my gosh. I hope you will be able to take a few pictures. I can only dream about the Dorchester Hotel. The history and beauty there.

Isn't tea time just the best? So many problems can get solved and so much laughter shared at tea time. It is as if the world stands still for that short moment in time, and allows us to be happy. No worries. I so love it. Thank you for sharing with me.

I too have signed up to follow. I have to keep up with your elegant tea times. Thank you sweetie for giving me a "happy heart" today.

Country hugs and much love...Sherry

ooh Enjoy your wonderful gift. I LOVE afternoon teas. When my sister & I used to live in Kent we go go to London for the day, do some shopping and have an afternoon tea at one of the lovely hotels. Unfortunately now that she lives in France and me in Somerset, it's not as easy anymore...

Take care

What a great idea for a gift!

I've only done afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason's so far - I must change that.
