Today we decided to take a look at The Perth Mint
It stands right in the centre of Perth and is open for visits! Visitors are given a little of the history of the mint and of the gold rush that happened in Western Australia!!!
During the tour of the mint it is possible to see a gold ingot being made!! The same gold can be melted down and made into an ingot every day for twenty years without losing any volume!!!!!
Not bad eh!!!
