Hubby's hobby!!!

Mr Angel has a hobby!!!

Nothing unusual about that, you might think!!

But Mr A's hobby takes up so much room!!!

He collects vintage motorbikes and scooters!!

He currently owns around 45!!

During a recent move to a more secure location: after he had two scooters stolen and one badly damaged, a few were parked on our drive, so I took full advantage and photographed them for you to see!!!

Luckily Mr A's our friend John - Yasmin's husband, restores scooters for a living so he and Mr A brought the damaged scooter back to life!!

Here are a few photos of some of his pretties for you to see!!

Now, they are not pretties as far as we are concerned, but for Mr A these are right up there with the best CK and vintage items that we all know and love!!!!

Kindest wishes and love

Ooh, what a lovely hobby! Funny thing, recently I've been wanting a scooter, I think I would prefer that over a car. :)

Beautiful! I love scooters, they always remind me of Audrey Hepburn & Gregory Peck in 'Roman Holidays'!

I would screaming, if I´d have to drive with such a scooter. I prefer cars. But they look really wonderful! Italian style ;-)
Don´t be worry with Mr. Angel :-)

Great photos, great scooters, fascinating post. Thanks for this.

Some of the scooters appear to have lots of accessories - "All Mod Cons" as you might say....

All the best

Ooh those are gorgeous, I want one!
See if he fancies doing a giveaway on your blog!! heehee!!
I'll bribe you with cupcakes and biscuits by the barrel load if you 'fix' it for me to be the winner.
Use your womanly ways to persuade him if you must!

I think that your hubby's hobby is great!! Those scooters remind me of an Eddy Izzard show where he was taking about Italy and all the the very cool Italians riding around on their scooters saying "Ciao"!

Love,
Susan and Bentley

Good for Mr. Angel, a man has to have toys too!! This from someone who has well over 45 teacups all over the house, so I understand.

What a great hobby, so much more exciting than say train spotting or stamp collecting.

Absolutely love em! Funnily enough there was a retro scooter in the window of a restaurant in Notts and I had to take a picce coz it looked so cool. x

...ooohhh my...Vespa's and memories of my youth...all fond memories! What would I give to zoom down the road on my 'baby' right now...
Unfortunately, had to leave it behind when I relocated to the other side of the world...
How lucky to have a hubby with special hobby...
...thanks for the memories...
