Recently I was given two brilliant awards!!
One from Alijane at Gingercat, and the other from Vanessa over at Coco Rose Textiles!!
I am always so pleased and amazed when I receive an award!!

Now, I have to tell you seven things you did not know about me, so here goes:
1. I had very short hair for about 25 years, until the beginning of last year!!
2. I always have painted toenails, and now more recently fingernails too!
3. My whole family consists of 7 people!!
4. All 4 of the Angel family work for London Underground!
5. We have been going to the same resort in Italy for our summer holidays for over 30 years!
6. I didn't get to go to America until I was 48!!
7. I never, ever go on any theme park rides!! Yuk!!!
I also need to nominate 7 people to pass this on to, but I have decided to pass both awards to the same people, so the list will be at the bottom of this post!!!

I love your blog too and congratulations on your award! Thank you for the award you bestowed on me too. Okay, here are 7 things about me:
1. I always have painted toenails too, either red in winter and fall, or pink in spring and summer.
2. I have been to England quite a few times. The last time I was there my British friend Denise and I had a bit too much fun at a wine bar and when we took the tube we kept getting off at Earl's Court by mistake.
3. I have never grown up and still like to play with dolls.
4. My husband of almost 21 years still "floats my boat".
5. I have always wanted to be a dancer on Broadway.
6. I have kind of a little girl voice and I once had a boyfriend who used to call me "squeeks". But then I had another boyfriend who used to call me "Suey" which is how they call pigs in the US. Not sure if it was meant to be endearing ...
7. Before I was married to David, I lived in Bahrain for 3 years. I tried to learn Arabic, but mine was so bad everyone kept begging me to please speak English instead.
I am adding an 8th fact about me. If reincarnation is true, I want to come back as Gracie Allen, the female part of the Burns and Allen team. She was so cute and funny and I enjoy giggling!!

I have always loved British history, as did my Grandmother!!!She gave me all her old paper clippings and magazines, all the way back to the Queens coronation, the magazine is old!!!I adore her for giving those to me!!!!!
I decided along time ok my sweet friend to be an award free blog, I do it because I love it --have made the most outstanding fantastic friends, and my family who lives away can keep up with us!!!
But not for an award!!!
I am so sorry, I do not want to hurt your feelings at all, I just do not feel I could accept an award for something I love to do so much!!!!

Congrats on your awards! Italy sounds wonderful! My brother has been to Rome several times and his daugthers studied their for a couple of semesters. That's my extent of traveling. Through his eyes.
