Ladies who lunch!

This week my very lovely and kind friend Val emailed me to ask if she could come over and take me out for coffee!!

As I'm still not driving after my operation, I was delighted at the opportunity to get out for a while!

We stayed locally and Val drove into Epping, to here

We ordered a lovely latte, we had a good chat and of course we checked out some holiday brochures!!!

Then we decided to have a spot of lunch!

I ordered a delicious goat cheese tart

and Val had a yummy salmon and asparagus quiche!!

The food is really good, but that's not all they sell!

Look!!!

It all looks devine, but I was good and didn't buy anything!!

We had a lovely time!!

Kindest wishes and love

Always good to have a catch up with friends, those tarts look lovely. I'm afraid I wouldn't have such self control though.

Hello Angel darling, hope you had a lovely Easter despite the fact that our darling Kelly was absent. I am so glad you had a nice lunch with a friend, and proud to see you opted for a delicious yet healthy one. Lately, I can always spot bloggers, they are the ones with cameras snapping away half eaten plates and everything else in sigh. Hey, a girl has to do what a girl needs to do for her blog!! Wishing you more happy days and hopefully sunny ones.

Love & Hugs
