My favourite room in the house!!!

Just before Christmas we had some special visitors coming to stay - but I didn't have a nice guest room for them to stay in!!!

All we had was Firstborn Angels old room - and I do mean old!!! (no photo - too awful)!!!

I decided that a complete make over was in order!!!

Everything went - I do mean everything!!!

I had the walls re-plastered, painted in a gorgeous neutral colour, new carpet, bed and furniture!!!!

And the best bit - the accessories!!!!

Now I really love it!!!

Duvets, pillows and toppers!!!

After spending a lot of time in bed recently!!!

I decided it was time for some new bed linen!!!

Firstborn Angel recommended that I have a look at the Duvet and Pillow Warehouse website!!!!

I am glad that I took her advice!!

I ordered some lovely new king size pillows and some 600 thread count sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers!!!

The pillows are so comfy - soft and supporting too!!!

The sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers are gorgeous, silky and cosy too!!

They are really good quality!!!

As I was so pleased with those things I decided to buy the mattress toppers that I had been promising myself for the last couple of years (since we slept on one at the Sofitel Hotel at Gatwick airport!!) Then I went completely mad and ordered a new all seasons Hungarian Goose Down duvet!!!!

They turned up this week and I thought you might like a peek!!!




I'll let you know how much more comfortable they make my bed!!!!

A job well done!!!

Today I decided to sort out lots of accumulated bits and pieces that had been lying around my bedroom!!! I have been needing to do this for some time!!! So I asked my sister to move it all to one place so that I could put it away!!!

I stared with this!!!

I wanted to put it in the spare room cupboard, here!!!

After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing - remember I am still on crutches!!!

I did it!!!




I am pleased to have a tidy bedroom and things where I can find them easily!!!

Phew - time for a cuppa!!!
